Catch some quality time with family and friends. Show a new or inexperienced angler the joys of fishing! Create memories and share your knowledge with the next generation of anglers. Get a line in the water, have a BBQ, and make the most of a day outdoors and near the water. It’s also a great way to show off your experience and to teach the value of our natural resources, how to use them, respect them and maintain them. Pick up some minnows, worm, or leeches and hit the water. Fishing is a great way to share and relax. Fishing is also a sport. Notice the wildlife that surrounds our lakes; ducks, geese, turtles, frogs, dragonflies and more. If you are going on a boat make sure to follow all safety rules and regulations. Sharpen up your hooks, grease up your reels and there may even be a tasty reward at the end of the day.
